problem is, now it comes hard to pass a team like Michigan or Arkansas who has no business being ahead of us regardless of who we beat.

And again, as Triple B reiterated. It's very realistic to think us, Louisville, and Cincinnati are tied and the rankings determine the winner.

Don't let it come down to that.

Well that's obviously ideal, but unless we go 7-0 in conference, it's a possibility. If we're going 7-0 then we might as well beat FSU and we should be even more ticked off about the rankings because 12-0 we'd worry about the National Title... But I don't think that's as reasonable as it being a 3-way tie on top as it's been a couple times recently in the Big East.

nice to see UCF out of our shadow for a while

other than the occasional Greg article, the only time USF shows up in the Orlando Sentinel is the rankings-- so there is that.

Being ranked is positive no matter how you look at it. Can't learn to win when ranked unless u r ranked. The short week on ESPN seems to be a true achilles tendon our Bulls need to overcome. So Thursday we get to see what this team is made of. FWIW, I would give all the OOC wins over that last five seasons for an undefeated conference schedule in one season...plain and simple.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
