The OLine. Just like for every team are the unsung hero's . They made some nice holes for Murray and Lamar and gave BJ time all afternoon.

Oline kept BJ clean

BJ out ran their Dline on many plays.

But that was usually after BJ had time enough time but couldn't find an open receiver.

this. very under the radar performance. Not amazing by any means, but no fumbles, INTs or really big sacks from BJ. That played a big role in allowing us to make big plays. Keep it up boys.

How about Durden stepping up in the 4th with Kayvon out? I saw him make a couple of plays when it mattered.

Murray didn't seem like unsung hero but was solid that no one really recognized at all

Yeah, I didn't say hero, just unsung. Thought he did good things. Just clarifying.

Unsung play of the game, just overshadowed for obvious reasons, first play of the winning drive. BJ was hit and still got the ball on target. Previous years I feel he might have been late getting it out, and game over.

Later on that same drive, BJ to Deonte Welch on third down was a big completion.

The line was fortunate that Nevada was usually only rushing 4 DL (very little blitzing from what I rememeber).

That said, BJ had some amazing escapes in the backfield (almost Grothe/Houdini-like). But I was still holding my breath on numerous plays and it was nice seeing him throw the ball away and/or getting a small gain in certain plays where I have seen him do something less clear minded.

I don't think anyone's heart ever got a rest during this barnburner

Yep, considering all the venom thrown at them for last week's performance, they may have been the best performing unit this game.
