Friday's College Football Live was going over the conferences. When it came to the Big East, all bad news. The only glimmer was Boise St coming in. And USF...not mentioned one time. Charlie Strong, Pitt and Rutgers were the teams/coaches mentioned. Strong was said to be the one most likely moving on to better things. And the only Big East player mentioned was Bridgewater. Oh, I guess we were mentioned...."Bridgewater, out of south Florida.... The bias was just so blaring. "The conference commish hopefully can get a TV good contract". "I guess they have a uniqueness with being in multiple time zones", to paraphrase. Garbage. In closing Van Pelt said if you could name all the incoming Big East teams you are a better man than him. Finally..the truth!

Van Pelt reminds me of someone else,

Scott Van Pelt, a.k.a:

Is anyone honestly surprised at the negative tone/lack of mention of USF?

I am not surprised about the negative Big East tone. I am surprised about the lack of talk about USF which did receive votes in both polls, was chosen by Athlon and Phil Steele to win or be Big East co champ.

I wouldn't go as saying its a joke of a network. The problem is that they have gone from reporting the games to manipulating sports as they have become more powerful. I really think Congress needs to hold hearings.

Espn can eff themselves in their own b-holes...I don't care what they say...back in 2007 when the WVU game was coming up an anchor for college football live said " what makes South Florida think they can beat West Virginia?" with a smirk on his face...it has been primarily negative since UM. VT and BC left...so whatever

Here is more fuel for this fire. A 22 min. 2012 Preview Podcast on the ACC and Big East , 20 mins on the ACC. 2 minutes on the Big EAST.

Also AA is now a tandem with Heather on the ACC blog:

I am sure BIG EAST on ESPN will be lumped with the MWC and the CUSA soon on their web pages
