I am rebuilding that "link depot" here, you can get to it by clicking on the "Pages" tab above. There'll be more stagnant type of info there as well. Well, this isnt for football really, but for the mad cow users, texags.com has a very active politics forum and many different topics and active discussions. The boards interface is not as nice and the board itself is not as sophisticated as tbp however. Don't see a reason users would like it for sports, just A&M and SEC talk, but I think mad cow users might like the political forum there.
