LMAO at Syracuse being on the Knights list. What a joke. I guess it's because of their "upwardly mobile" status.

They had a stretch through the 80s and 90s when they finished ranked almost every year. We have yet to finish ranked once. They are moving back down to peasantville, but I think Knight is fair.

I'm glad USF is on the list, one might notice that there are plenty of programs that did not make the list.

*cough* UCF *cough*

Based on the tone of the article and the peasant title, I would have preferred not be named at all.

Also very negative on the BE. Is SI owned by ESPN?

For the purposes of this exercise, I've included all current AQ-conference programs, major independents and a certain blue-clad team that falls somewhere in between.

It's hard to be anything else, isn't it?

In terms of perception, Syracuse also has the advantage of tradition (with a great head start), its basketball success, and being the only nationally recognized college football brand from the state of New York.

Talk about unfair. A program 15 years old. Already beating the 'Barons' and 'Knights' of this list on their home fields??

Go get em guys: http://sportsillustr...p&sct=hp_t11_a0

I think this is more about perception then reality. I mean look at FSU and Miami. Nothing to write home about for them in the last 10 years but they have the NCs to back them up.

Perception is reality!

I guess that those not listed are the serfs?

I'm pretty sure that SI is owned by Time Warner
