Lets hope NBC sports gets our contract because you know they will then get the expiring BB contract after that. I wouldn't mind being on the same channel as ND. Plus NBC still means "Saturday College Football" to alot of us. You won't be disappointed in their presentation of the games.

The smear campaign of the Big East afterwards was a disgrace! ESPN threw out objective sports journalism a long time ago. All they do now is promote their products. It is straight out sickening!

This is why I recently decided to not watch ESPN anymore except for an actual game broadcast.

I think it's amazing that they have any audience at all for their non game broadcasts .... doesn't speak well for the country that Chris Berman is still on the air in key spots.

Bailey was dreadful with the Phins front office, so I'm hoping to god he's only with the Big East on a truly interim basis. Any word on the street as to who the potential successor will be to Meatball Maranato? Sports media has been oddly quiet on the Big East commish front.

The BE, as suggested by the new PR firm, has started limiting Bailey's media contact. Deputy Commish Carparelli has started making the rounds on radio and print media to put the word out on the BE. He's doing a much better job at defending the league by challenging anyone to debate the merits of the BE as deserving a spot at the table. Also, Carparelli said the BE should have a new commish in place by late August.
