I think the fact we play at ray jay has an effect in this, but more people should start treating our stadium like our campus... We would not allow someone on our campus talking smack, so we need a little esprit de corps with ray jay

There were a lot of Miami fans in the student section last November. I don't think that will change for FSU.

2-1 is dumb, but I can see it 50/50. I fear that.

We will learn a ton about our fan-base after that game... If we can't get more then 50k "USF" fans (Alumni and students total) then we are in big trouble long-term. Not to many high profile OOC teams play often in our house, so this game should draw well... I pray it does anyway...

We should be able to bring 40k to a huge game like this. So, 40k us, 25k them.

This is a huge game, and if FSU runs in there 4-0, based on their preseason ranking (which you know will be inflated), they will be Top 10 easily. That alone will #1, attract all students, #2 attract the season ticket holders, #3 attract some fairweathers, dependent on how clean our record is going in.

A win against Rutgers and @Nevada might peak the interest more for this matchup, but I still fear 50/50 for the only fact that FSU will jump on it harder than we will

I would hope we'd bring 47-50k, I would be totally happy with that. Expecting 33-35k is more realistic.

I never went to USF, but, If your friend goes to FSU/UM/ucf...... I hope that your friendship is bigger than your current school. I would think that if someone is in the student section, then their most likely friends with someone there.
