Somehow.....I doubt Razorback fans would be thrilled with the name Skip Holtz as their coach.

If they take Holtz....hey whatever...we would deal with it.

im sure the arkansas fans would love to have a guy who can't win yet in the BE.

he needs to win to move on IMO

i dont think he is arkansas's number one choice

I WOULD HIRE PETRINO AND THE GIRL ON THE BIKE TO REPLACE HIM

They should run to sign Charlie Strong.

3. Charlie Strong Louisville(14-12 at UL)- Strong is a Batesville, Arkansas native and a graduate of The University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR. Strong was a defensive coordinator in the SEC for a decade under Lou Holtz, Ron Zook, and Urban Meyer. He also coached under Steve Spurrier at Florida and Billy Brewer at Ole Miss. With such strong ties to the SEC and The State of Arkansas he would be a nice fit at Arkansas. Strong is a defensive minded coach who would likely have a prostyle type offense similar to what Petrino has been using. He inherited a mess at UL and has taken the Cardinals to back to back bowl games. Would Arkansas hire another former Louisville coach?

BTW, Strong is ticked off at the local media in Louisville because he feels they aren't giving the football team enough press. He therefore announced today that he would bar the press from attending spring practices. Evidently, he's learning that in Kentucky Basketball is king and he doesn't like it.

I'm honestly not trying to be racist, but do you think Arkansas would hire an African American as their head coach for football? I think it would be a great hire for them, but I don't see it happening.

They did not have a problem with Richardson or Heath, except for lack of performance.
