I think USF still has a great shot at him. He just wants to enjoy the process.

Still a huge downer though.

The SEC likely called with a big bag of cash.

Yea, since SEC schools pay big money for the 12th overall Dual-Threat QB.

After reading that article and his quotes, I doubt he comes here. Very negative stuff.

CSH and the OC can't buy a decent QB for their offense. This smells like Tyler Cameron all over again. :(

im not shocked by this. why would a very good quarterback at the highschool level come to a college program that has taken mulitple very good highschool qbs and turned them into mediocre players with poor decision making? with our playcalling, our offensive coaching staff sets up our quarterbacks for failure, period.

Or maybe the thought of playing in a glorified C-USA is already hitting home with good recruits?

His numbers sucked and that is who we were hanging our QB hopes on?? The big boys will turn him into a safety/receiver. Enjoy playing QB at Cuse, Duke or FIU.

honestly, he has only played one year at QB and everyone is annointing him as the next great one because of his physical attributes......we had every reason to go after another high ranked qb this year, if that hurts his feelings enough to decommit then good luck playing safety in the SEC

Ummmm- he's right. Who gives a **** anyway. To build we need people who want to be here. At least it was not last minute and his stats do blow

He never said anything about the de-comittment because of another QB offer. From what I read in the article, it was because he wants more offers from bigger schools.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
