I'm happy with mccray.

He can't carry the ball all 40 times each game.
Yet you think Kemp could? Thats not a knock on Kemp, but not many backs can. Its going to be a multiback effort and mccray will play a role. Edited by dabulls34

That was my point, that we need more than one running back.

We have Shaw, Davis, Battles, Pierre...surely one of them can step in a contribute.

You would hope, but you don't recruit for the coming year.  You are picking up guys for the next 4 to 5 years.  All of those guys except Davis are gone within the next two years.  In the CWT system, we need more RB depth.

I get that.  I just think we'll be ok.  I'm sure we'll pick up another RB but even if we don't, we'll have at least 5 RB's for this year and we'll be able to sign more RB's next year when CWT has more time to recruit.

Kemp is ready to play now. Mcray is too. Imo. We as a school honestly don't have the clout to bring in two highly touted backs.

Davis is still out there as well, isn't he? Or did he commit to Memphis ? What other Rbs are we looking at ? I believe Tice and who else?

I don't think Davis has committed yet. What about Woodley or Webb? Weren't we after them at some point?

Woodley, I think.  Sounds like Davis is sour on USF, and it's between Memphis & Cincy.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
