wouldn't really call it "firing", since he gets to come back in a year as a professor. Its more of a demotion, but hell a demotion that still lets me keep my Chancellor salary for one year while i'm on a "sabbatical" and then come back and still pays me 100k+, i'll take it.

where did the switching to the UF system come from? I don't remember reading that. I thought they just wanted to be an independent?

Touchton will keep the project on progress, and as a CPA, he's much more likely to keep costs down. This guy should also be able to stand up to intimidation from Alexander and Machen.

Since Senator Alexander wants his way ASAP... he feels that USF isn't going to make Poly-Tech's independence top priority like he wants.

So he has friends @ UF whom he says can take over for USF and make it so.
