I think you need to clarify the question.

I've personally had many, many things more disappointing in my life than the results from one football season.

If you are talking about sports in general, yeah I've had greater disappointments there also, but this one ranks on the list somewhere.

Bulls football, this is probably the most disappointing season. Though the 2007 collapse was probably worse because that team actually looked like it was going somewhere.

2007 was a farce and an enormous disappointment..... my god that loss to Rutgers took years off of my life.

Bulls football, this is probably the most disappointing season. Though the 2007 collapse was probably worse because that team actually looked like it was going somewhere.

In the 2007 season, we came back and won games and went to a bowl. We didn't have a losing season ans I certainly don't remember hearing excuses about the relatively low humidity or that the other team was playing zone defense. I also don't think we lost games in the last seconds of the game like Miami and WVA.
