I can't believe we bothered with a medical hardship for McFarland so he could catch 1 pass for 8 yards. what a waste. Shields has caught 11 balls this year. I know Landi is supposed to be a TE but he still seems to be more of a wideout. he is nowhere near the match-up problem those two are. I'd like to see us use 2 TE sets against WVU. run it at them and then use the TEs over the middle.Fitch says we are a play action team. let's see it. WVU is 7th in the conference against the run. if we don't run 2 out of 3 times then our coaches fail.

Certainly agree that we need to utilize a TE more.

I thought they'd get the ball in his hands a lot more last week, but he only had one reception for 18 yards. Too bad it was a TD.

Really skinny TE...talking about McFarland wow I must be looking at the wrong guy. tall sure. he isn't build like a lineman but he is not what i would call skinny. BTW people complain we don't have talent well he was the #12 TE recruit in the country. odd we don't use him especially since he is eligible and burning a year. When he turned sideways he looks as thin or thinner than any of our WR's. Probably just such a large frame. Either way, no idea why he hasnt been throw to more often

When he turned sideways he looks as thin or thinner than any of our WR's of course. he isn't a lineman. he is 4 or 5 inches taller and 30-40 pounds heavier than most WRs. it's his height that makes him the match-up problem. show me a LB, CB or safety that is 6'6"
