Sorry lack of coaching is not the reason for blown assignments and tackling. Lack of discipline. Players stop doing the little things that bring success early in the year.

How? BJ does not play cornerback. Defense gave up 34 points. Eveld wasn't great, but we won't win many giving up 34.

Defense was a big factor. Eveld was a smaller factor. BJ would have brought another dimension. It is what it is.

Actually it is exactly the reason. Lack of coaching the basics causes the blown assignments and tackling. The lack of discipline is also the coaches fault. It is their job to teach it, which they have failed miserably to do.

So the coaches suddenly stop coaching these things after five weeks? Still comes down to the players executing. You got guys out there who think they are better than they are and slack off. Nowsome senior leadership could be used to kick some guys in the butt.

B.J. doesn't catch punts nor make a bone headed decision to squib kick with so much time left on the clock.

It wasn't the decision, it was the execution. The ball carrier was looking for a place to fall down until he saw nobody wanted to tackle him ...

Can't blame Skip on that one. That looked like a friggin onside kick. I really do think special teams has been our biggest problem this year.
