Where's our talent? I'll wait.

On the field. Talent is not the problem my friend. Our OC not being able to develop a Oline or how about our DC not being given the ok to call plays how he wants. Skip let him last week, this week we are back to a prevent defense. How did that work out?

Do you even know what "prevent" D is? I think not, we rushed 3 less than 5 times today. If you rush more than 3 you are not running a prevent. There were times that we had 5 (nickle) or 6 (dime) DB's but we still rushed 4. Our D went down fighting today.

You can cry, b***h and moan about it. Nothing is going to happen with the coaching. He can't help the hand that he was dealt with. Last year he had senior leadership. They did better than expected with the leftover talent. This year he doesn't have the talent or the leadership and now you are asking for his head. Plus he have players that either shouldn't be on the field or out of position. And that could be from lack of depth. Michael Lanaris is not a starting MLB for a fast defensive team in Florida. He is built more like a MLB on a Big 10 team. Kavon Webster is not a cornerback. He's more fit to play safety. And Darrell Scott should not be starting over Demetris Murray.

We must give him time. He's only had one full year of recruiting. The players he has brought in this year will be stars. Players like Andre Davis, Elkino Watson, Ruben Gonzalez, Kenneth Durden, Willie Davis. He haven't gotten his big name QB in here yet. ( I really hope it's Trenton Norvell) It could be Matt Floyd next year. But the team he has still have a lot of Leavitt players on it. And yes, CJL would have won more games with the talent that's here. And BJ would have benefited with CJL here. BJ was brought in here to be that next Grothe. To play wild and improvise on the run style. That not how Coach Skip offenses operate. Let Skip get all of his players in here.

The hand he was given? He inherited the second most talented team in the League two seasons in a row. What else can you ask for? Get him outta here... Bring in this own players...you got jokes. The guy can't even keep his players from decommitting so sure, give him time. You must be Doug Funny's spokes person, next you will tell me Prado will have the baseball team wining Big East titles ery soon.

He inherited a team that didn't have football knowledge. Football IQ of a biscuit. This must be Jim Leavitt that's responding to this post. They were known as a fast dumb team team. Have you forgot.

Leavitt has been gone for 2 years. You sound like when Obama still blames Bush for the economy.

This has nothing to do with politics. Leavitt has been gone for 2 years. But he left his trash behind.

Well if you think Obama can fix Bushes ***** up economy in four years your are insane. Bush came in with a surplus, when he left we had Trillions of dollars in debt. If you really think that even compares to USF football then I am done with you. Trillions of dollars in debt does not equal Second most talented team in the league two seasons in a row.

Obama has every right to blame Bush. If you wanna give fixing that mess a try please go right ahead. Bush ruined everything this country stood for, and most of us will not be alive to see that change.

Don't take this the wrong way and I don't mean to offend, but you sound like the typical uneducated that voted for the guy.

Our players under Leavitt at least played tough and had the personality of their coach. Under Holtz we play about as soft as he is

True. But they also played the game like a bunch of dumb f**** also under Leavitt. In both of there college coaching careers. Leavitt can't hold a stick to Skip. And if you want to argue that. Then I have no more words for you. But check the records. I guess all of a sudden, Coach Skip drink the Tampa Bay water and got stupid. <_<

Yes they do. They play Madden. That qualify as being football experts. They know more then the coach on the field.

I don't know about that, building a program up from nothing to #2 in the country at one point is pretty **** impressive. I was critical of Leavitt in his last few years, but I think it's safe to say that the Big East meltdowns weren't completely his fault.

I think Skip is our guy, and I agree that he isn't going anywhere. The mistakes need to be fixed, though.

Don't hate Tampa Bay like I responded to you on the other board. I'm from the area. They just SUCK as sports fans. And all of the professional teams should leave the area. There's too many cities would love to have the Bucs and the Rays. Hell ucf wish they could have USF resume. We (Tampa Bay sports fan) are spoiled and unappreciated for what we have. And don't deserve what we have.

skip won c-usa twice with 9-4 records. please don't measure him for his college football hall of fame bust quite yet.

kragthorpe left Uofl in shambles. strong and skip came in the same year. strong won a share of the conference today. we are 1-5. anybody who thinks we were in worse shape when leavitt left is insane.

here is the almighty gators vs furman. nice crowd they have there. our crowds have nothing to do with our sports community. win and play decent competition and the casual fans will come.

And what did CJL do? If a program had a choice outside of Tampa Bay area to choose a coach. Who would they choose between Leavitt and Skip?
