There were a good amount of prospects that got to see USF football beat Ball State in their home opener. One of those was Eric Lee, a defensive end that made the trip all the way from Daphne, AL. The 6-foot-4, 225 pound defensive end prospect talks about his visit, the game and where the Bulls stand. Read on for all the details, only on USFNation.com

Yes, there was a blurb on twitter today that he enjoyed himself at the game.

It seemed to me that Holtz spent more time talking with him than anybody else. At the time, I wasn't sure who he was.

BTW, here is a free story on him.

29. Eric Lee

Defensive End

Daphne High School

6-foot-3, 230-pounds

Recruitment: Lee has double-digit scholarship offers from across the country including Kentucky, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, Minnesota, Missouri, South Florida, Southern Miss, Tulane and UAB. He currently favors Arkansas, LSU and South Florida. Arkansas and LSU have not offered at this point.

Lee says, "I have to say my speed is my biggest strength. I have a long wingspan. I am quick, but I am still able to push someone down if they are in front of me. I would like to improve fighting off my double-team blocks."

He reminds me of JPP!  I hope he sees the talent generated at this position here and the great coaching staff we have.  He would be a great get for us.

Erics got it down to 2. I know we are high on him. I just hope he knows how much fun he could have playing in Tampa. Arkansas, not so much.

Maybe someone should remind Eric how that scum sucking dog, Petrino, bailed on his last team .... really not sure how anybody can respect him as a coach after that, but they do.

He was just downgraded from a 3 star DE to a 2 star DE on both Rivals and Scout.
