It's all about name recognition. Go out and ask a non USF fan to name 2 USF football players. Most college football fans outside of the Tampa Bay area couldn't name anyone besides BJ Daniels.

Not a valid argument here, she is rendering an opinion on the players for ranking, therefore she should do her homework.  This was not some fan poll.  Besides, that goes for most programs in the Big East, Name more than two players on ANY BE team if you are not a fan.  Even that goofball QB at UCONN and he has been all over YouTube with the stunt throws.

She overlooked 2 of her 1st team All Big East players as well (Warren and Lamar).

Lamar was a great kick returner, but his stats at WR aren't there.  You're not a top 50 player in the big east on kick returns alone.

USF has a lot of above average players, but without the stats from last year there aren't any superstars.  Complain about the post season list.  Who cares about preseason anything?!

She has praised Lattimore amonst others before.  We certainly have more talent on this team that warrants more than one player on that list.

I don't know.....a kick returner could be one of the top 25 players in the Big East. Terrance Mitchell already has people kicking away from him and if we can get him the ball like we did in the Bowl game.....I would say he would be top 25.

Sam Barrington should be top 25......same with Lattimore. Everyone keeps saying USF has the best LB core in the BE. Yet neither is top 25?
