That and the fact that he has made circus catch after circus catch all camp.  Holtz said in an interview after the last scrimmage that Davis has made more circus catches in one camp than he has seen total in his time here.  Davis has an uncanny ability to go up and get the ball.  Hence the nickname The Freak.

I don't see why that is reason for concern about the WR. I hope Gonzalez does not redshirt either. They are WR and are not ppl learning the position, like most of our guys

Can't wait to see it on the field. We haven't really had a solid posession reciever since Jesse Hester went down, and its been a big factor in the offense's struggles.
