I just graduated and simply cannot afford season tickets but I guarantee it will be one of my first buys once I get a real job. With my current job I'll be lucky to make it to more than one game this year...  :-[

If I am not mistaken, there is a fantastic deal for recent graduates that make season tickets VERY affordable.  I'm sure someone can find a link, if it's still offered.

Anyone have any info on this deal? I'm graduating this weekend, and I was going to just stubhub tickets, but I will do my part if I can get a deal.

New grad season tickets are $99 in section 240 (right above the band section

I'm sorry but I see this as a bogus excuse.... You can get the graduate package or you can get seats for under $200.... heck don't they have the seats up in the 300's for $75 again this year?  ::)

Best deal for tickets probably anywhere. At $28 or less per ticket. Not to mention the 7 home games this year, and the teams we get at home.

I think one key to this is whether there is easy access to tickets in the lower bowl. Why was there such a jump in 2008? The home schedule in 2008 was certainly not any better. The reason was because suddenly out of nowhere (with the Auburn and WVU wins).... during the 2007 season you couldn't just walk up and buy a seat in the lower bowl at face ticket value.

However, since that was not sustained and with the economy taking a dive.....people that want tickets just buy them as needed. However, if USF starts winning, more bandwagon fans will come, forcing more into the upper deck, which will cause them to fork out for season tickets in the lower bowl again in 2012.

Yep, that is it... $14 a game to sit in the second level right near the student section. I would do it if I had just graduated.

And remember, donations can be paid in installments.

I'm doing it this season to get back to Green Jacket.

Buying season tix are an investment ... in YOUR OWN future.

It will allow you better tix for away games and bowl games.

AND ... when the OCS is built, you're on a priority list.

Last season I bought season tickets, but still bought tix on game day.

Go BULLS !!!

Considering currently the Florida unemployment rate is 10.6% it makes sense. People with tight budgets just aren't spending money on luxuries in this terrible economy.

This is what hurts us most and will be the reason we don't keep Holtz.

absolutely not.

if we are in year 4,5,or 6, Holtz has been winning, and this is still the case, then maybe.

until then, 2 years of data with a poor economy and 1 season played is a poor amount of data to use to jump to such an extravagant conclusion.

I agree ... attendance wouldn't be the rason he'd leave within a few years.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
