I noticed that there are no games on Jan 1st because its a Sunday.  What are the odds of some games moving to that day if the NFL does go to a lockout, or is there something else to it?

I don't want to start the "should a 6-6 or possibly even a 5-7 team go to a bowl game" thread, but....

70 out of 120 teams bowling is WAY too many games.  IMO it should be 50% for 30 games (or even less).

If we don't win the league this season, then we could be looking at bad game.

As Jim mentioned, the Belk bowl isn't going to be too interested in taking us again. The Champs Bowl would be foolish not to take ND this year if they're not going to a BCS game.

We could finish 2nd in the league at be looking at Birmingham as the likely spot. Not sure the Pinstripe Bowl would be too interested in us due to closer alternatives that they'll have.

A situation that arose last season with the Sun Bowl could occur, but we wouldn't be looking at as good a Bowl as that.
