This guy is heating up. He has offers from Indiana, Eastern Michigan and UF along with the Bulls. Still has us first.

Aside from OL J Griffin another highly regarded Armwood HS player who signed with USF was CB RJ Anderson, but he then signed a baseball contract. Eventually he tried to come back to USF after leaving baseball. WR Mike Williams is another Armwood player who signed with USF.

Just wanted to clarify that the Rivals profile doesn't show USF leading, but this tweet does.

Armwood (FL) OL Kevin McCoy says that #USF leads, even after a recent #UF offer. Other offers include #Indiana and #EasternMichigan #Gators

He is a beast and would be a HUGE get for USF; not to mention huge ego boost for us if he chooses USF.

USF has had decent success at getting a few Armwood guys to commit, Plant, on the other hand, is a different story. Off the top of my head I can only remember Dontae Spires as being one of the few Plant kids to come to USF directly from high school.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
