That's got to be good news for us. This is his 2nd alcohol related offense in a little over a year. You have to think a suspension is coming.

It seems, based on past ND practices in similar cases, that he will be suspended for at least the USF game.

Very pleased with this news. Either ND will not suspend him and look like a complete mockery or they will suspend him and we should have a bit of an easier time in South Bend.

Good news.  And for those who say "I don't want there to be any excuses why they lost, blah blah blah..." keep in mind that in 2+ years, no one will remember why USF beat Notre Dame.  But they will remember that USF beat Notre Dame.  That's all that matters, especially when we only have one shot at them.

Based on Floyd's past transgressions, I wouldn't be surprised if he is expelled from the University let alone suspended from the USF game.  After all isn't this a Catholic university (rhetorical question).  All and all, this should play out well for USF's back field.

Catholics drink, but morality is a big issue.  A second offense like this is going to raise some eyebrows.

I hate to say it, but considering how good their recruiting classes have been, we need all the help we can get this fall.  I hope the rest of their starters get in trouble and get suspended.

Bad behavior is like an injury.  You don't wish it on anyone, but there's no excuses come game day.  A W is a W no matter who suits up.  If their backup isn't as good, that's not our problem.
