These dudes in the backfield should create better opportunities for our passing game.

I do not interpret Skip's comments here that TRex will definitely stay at WR...seems silly now that we have some hosses coming in to fill the gaps and some experience coming off injuries.  TRex has WAY more upside as a returner/DB combo.

Look, for what T-Rex did at WR last year......basically a couple of end arounds, one that worked for a TD in the bowl game.....why can't he play both positions? Didn't Mike Jenkins get in on a few offensive plays his senior year? Seems like the CB depth is a lot weaker now than WR. I say move him back to CB and you want to design a "change of pace" play or two for him on offense....so be it. Just keep him at PR.....either way.

I agree if we only use him like we did last year, however I don't think they're keeping at WR just to do that.  originally they were bringing Boyd in to play slot so it just seems they've switched Boyd for Mitchell.

WR Coach McGeoghan told us at signing day that TRex is staying at WR.  Doesn't mean it can't change, but plans for now are to keep him on offense.

a la Greg Reid at FSU. Play DB, run a few WR plays here or there, and PR duty.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
