ACC Writer @ ESPN: Maybe USF should join the ACC?

If offered, I'd happily go. The only reason id want us to go to the ACC is because it appears the Big East is going to offer UCF, and the last thing I want is to be in the same conference as them.

I love the big east, but if they add UCF against USF's wishes (its well documented how we feel) they can kiss me ***. I'd leave the first chance we get.

I'm not sure where it appears that UCF is going to be extended an invitation to the Big East. The fact that the Big East is willing to let Villanova push their decision out until April leads me to believe that they'd be content at just adding TCU if Villanova says no.

I thought ucf was waiting for an SEC invite, or was it Big 12?  ;D

Yeah, word around the campfire is that there's such disappointment w/'bama this year,

the SEC is mulling over the idea dropping them and adding UCF

This was a down year for the Big East.  In a few years the Big East may look much better than the ACC, but the travel would be easier.  At this point the ACC doesn't look all that different from the Big East as a football power.

As for UCF I heard that Ohio State might get tossed....  Knights go to the big house...  hard not to see that coming.
