http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/content/receiver-love-granted-sixth-year-2011

Greg has an article up on this and I found the last paragraph interesting.

"Newcomers this year, like sophomore T.J. Knowles, freshman walk-on Stephen Bravo-Brown and redshirting freshman Deonte Welch, will also have a chance to compete for larger roles this spring, and the Bulls will use the hybrid tight end/receiver position more, with Andreas Shields and Isaac Virgin expected to play a larger role in 2011."

Why is this going to happen next year? Is our offense changing? Why would that wrinkle in our offense not be used this year? Does this mean Holtz expects to have better passes next season?

Just seems odd and I don't know why the TE's role would expand from this season to next.

They had to come in and teach EVERYONE on offense a brand spanking new system, while also teaching a good deal of players on offense how to play new positions.  Also if you look closely at the moves Holtz has made since coming in they all have been building to the 2011 season....As long as we can replace Skinny and McClain on D I think we can take a big step forward next season and seriously compete for a BE title.....

We were so close, yet so far away.MY major concern is replacing Raymond.  He was/is an excellent player.

Bogan's production should be surpassed by the combo of Love/Griffin.  RB we should be good.  DT should be solid.

A qb that can hit 63% of his passes and USF is a major contender.

This off season will be a very fun one!

Wide Open Competition at QB

Our first real looks at Scott and Aycock

Does Marcus Shaw get some carries?

New Blood having a chance to compete at WR with Welch, Boyd, incoming signees

A Wide Open Corner spot with lots of young players competing to grab it

Will T-Rex stay on O or go back to CB?

How will the guys who made up "The Land of Misfit Toys develop after another full winter/spring/fall camp?

Giddens will have the opportunity to be "the man" at DE how will he react, can he keep from being dinged up?

Who can step up and replace McClain?

Man I can't wait to whip some Tiger butt, close some quality recruits to finish this class, and start answering some of these questions!
