Guest
BJ is the starting QB... and will be for the bowl game. Some people may not like it, but that is reality.Maybe Skip opens up a competition in the Spring... but don't expect Eveld to start the bowl game. He is a more dynamic player and makes Clemson account for one more playmaker on the field. With him being mobile, he can take advantage of broken down plays. As well as he has had more time to work with the starters, so a little better rhythm. I'm def not hating on Eveld as he will push Daniels for the starting gig.Don't expect Gunsby to ever be a factor here for a few reasons......but I'm sure that will play out down the road. BJ needs the start. Glad this game is so far back so that he can rest up
commbull Posted December 12, 2010 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 477 Reputation: 9 Days Won: 0 Joined: 03/07/2007 Share Posted December 12, 2010 Yesterday's news was that BJ was not at all well yet, so I don't think we know whether he'll be well enough to play much less be 100%, but if he is.... Consider two other possibilities: (a) they continue to announce that BJ is injuried and will play as backup "if necessary" (thus, saving face for him), and ( that they announce that they will both play and that they'll be rotating them according to situation. I don't like it at all but I think that is what happens. I just hope that Skip will yank BJD if he goes out there and pulls another piss poor showing of confusion and wild passes. I do however think they will use both QB's for different packages to throw off Clemsons D.
