Iowa State would have been.....but going to one of the "Harvards of the South".....obviously education was higher on his list that football. From a purely financial perspective on his part......it was probably the smart play....odds are he wasn't going to go to the NFL and a Vandy degree will probably open more doors to you than an ISU, Wake Forest or USF degree.
