How did he manage to get out kicked by Schwarz  to lose the job to him to start the year?  The guy has been automatic all year and Schwarz can't hit the side of an airplane hanger.

In HS he was automatic from inside the 40.  I thought he was  going to be a real good kicker for us.  Thank-goodness he recovered from his Bush Gardens fall.

The guy just came off broken vertebrae and hadn't kicked in at least 6 months, give him a break lol.

also, alverado was great at kicking fg's in practice, but we all know game time was a different story. so with bonani's injury and swartz kicking decent in practice probably got swartz the starting position. just my opinion.
