My biggest issue with the game was our fans. Empty stadium, no noise, and people leaving when theres 8-9 min left in the game. It was a sad environment for football...

this is the ranting of someone who clearly knows very little about the game of football. the defense played lights out for 3 1/2 quarters, holding Cuse to 6 points & stopping them on a critical 4th down... but when the offense cant sustain a drive & the QB can't hit the broad side of a barn with a beachball from 5 yards away, it's no shocker that the defense is gassed midway thru the 4th qrtr.

u, sir, really need to think before u post.

You might want to know what you're talking about before calling out others.  USF was winning the time of possession battle at that point in the game, and was just coming off a 5 min+ drive that ended with downing the ball at the 2 yard line.  There's no reason why our defense should have been "gassed" at that point.  They played a great game, but couldn't hold when it counted.

You are crazy. It should have been 30-6 at that point with all the opportunities the offense had. watch the tape before u start telling people they don't know what they're talking about

Our defense was awesome yesterday and they almost won the game for us... heck even the offense looked good, our running game was picking up 5-7 yard carries here and there, and our wideouts were getting wide open for easy touchdowns... the only problem was BJ who was throwing into double and triple covered players, scrambling around like a chicken with his head cut off, and just looking lost.

Its easy to blame B, because he was the reason we lost today.

BJ played bad, but cmon...."he was the reason we lost today"....really?

So the OC shares no blame for not calling any type of plays to slow down a full on blitzing defense.  The offensive line shares no blame for not making the right calls to cover or atleast slow down the blitz and not let linebackers run wild at BJ.  The WR core shares no blame for dropping passes.

The reason we lost is because everyone on the offensive side of the ball laid an egg today.

There is enough blame to go around all three facits of the game. However, the defense played well enough to win. At the same time, the defense is still getting blown away and this means trouble vs. Rutgirls, UCONN, and Cinn.

I never said the offense didn't miss points. Strictly pointed out that the drive the defense let up wasn't because they were "gassed" because of being on the field more.  And despite the offenses struggles, USF did have the lead at that point in the 4th quarter.

If our defense was so bad why did we hold them to 14 points? If our defense was so bad we'd have been completely blown out. Our defense kept us in the game.

BJ seems completely lost on the field. Is it because he can't opt to run any time his first assignment (or whatever it's called) is not in place? I imagine it takes a while to adjust to new coaches and a new play book; and that the OC probably wants to keep him in the pocket and learn to think past option one: throw to his targeted receiver, option two: run the ball.

It isn't easy to blame BJ; it is easy to see that he's struggling and confused on the field. Perhaps it's because he does not fit well this new offense. Or maybe he just isn't superman like we want him to be...

No u blamed it on the defense. Then u turn around and blame it on the entire offense. At this point its obvious you aree defending BJ at all costs

Not true... Bogan, Landi, and Bravo Brown were all wide open for an easy touch down no less then 7 times yesterday... even the announcers pointed this fact out each time he did it... what did BJ do instead, he threw the ball into double / triple coverage.

If BJ was a real QB then he would look before he just throws the ball. Unfortunately I missed the game yesterday and had to watch it from home so I got a birds eye of what was going wrong.
