"If all our guys that are supposed to be playing aren't going, then we're in panic mode," Pouncey said. "We want all our guys to get back healthy and then come back, especially by Week 3."

Keep thinking like that Pouncey... This game only gets bigger by the day (and they truly don't realize it). Please Skip... Realize this is the game that matters most in our history. I can wait another season for a Big East championship. Facing Florida rarely happens (and won't be happening much in the future if they have their way).

Bulletin Board Material For Sure:

"If all our guys that are supposed to be playing aren't going, then we're in panic mode," Pouncey said. "We want all our guys to get back healthy and then come back, especially by Week 3."

This is similar to what the "Oh My" radio announcer was saying during the Gator Spring Game on Sun Sports when they were going over their schedule. Essentially he said the first test for the Gators will be at Tennessee and the former Dolphins rxcvr immediately stopped him and mentioned that you can not overlook South Florida.

Bulls have a shot if they punch em in the mouth several times early.  If Bulls have lead in 4th quarter, lizards will be full of doubt.

Their team is stacked with talent; this is just a motivational ploy by Meyer. Let me them overlook us in week 2, bring on the Gators. Any given Saturday.

Nobody else USF has faced save for maybe Oklahoma has been at the Gators' level.

Penn State was pretty good in the year we played them

Florida is still on another level. We will have to be at our best even if they are at their worst.

I find some humor in how when any other coach says things like this it is immediately recognized as "typical coach speak", but when our coaches do it (aka talk about need to simplify the offense) we go into full melt-down.

That happens with most fanbases though. Lot's of Gator fans spend a lot of time over analyzing anything Meyer says.

Gotta love the media.

It's somehow Meyer's fault that they publish questionable material based on rumors.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
