Let's assume: Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and OSU all bolt for the Pac 10.Then Rutgers and Mizzou end up getting invited to the Big Ten. Could or would the Big East invite Kansas, KSU, ISU and then Xavier and UMass let's say and go to an 20 team conference? You would have 10 football schools and 10 basketball schools. Sounds crazy but I think it would upgrade the perception of Big East football and it would make Big East Basketball just crazy. Obviously you would have to do this prior to the SEC expanding.Thoughts?

Also, the travel costs would be astronomical for our Olympic sports.

Extending invitations to teams like KSU, Kansas, and perhaps Missouri sounds better then inviting teams like UCF and ECU. I don't think these teams will join the BE, but the BE has nothing to lose by being proactive and by thinking big. If the BE expands out West, Tulane and Houston should also be considered. Are they going to join the mwc and hope for an aq from the bcs.
