As much as it pains me, since I am a Buc fan, I hope they do not draft JPP because he will eventually be screwed over by the glazers who will most likely try to offer him some low ball pathetic contract causing him to hold out and miss a ton of time.

I love JPP, but he is not good enough for the #3 pick. If he was he would have dominated our schedule this year.

Adam Schefter came out and said he'll "take all bets" that the Rams will take Sam Bradford #1 overall. So look for the Bucs to pick up whichever DT isn't taken by Detroit or maybe even trade down with a team like Seattle who wants to jump the Redskins to take the #2 QB, Jimmy Clausen.

If the Bucs were smart (laugh), they would trade down and get more picks.

No need for the Bucs to trade down, they have 10 picks in this draft and 5 in the top 99.  If anything, they could switch the #3 for the #2, provided the Rams do take Bradford, and get Suh.  I agree, I hope they don't take JPP though, he's too raw - they need someone to step in immediately.

This is what I heard on 1010 that they plan to do... with the possible lock out the glazers are reportedly trying to save as much cash as possible thus why they have the coach they do now when you have so much talent sitting around out in limbo.

I hope he some how lands in the Dolphins lap but I doubt it would happen...

Remember, it takes 2 to trade down ... gotsta have the other party willing to trade up with value.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
