so I posted a question on the uf msg board this is what I got.

Do you think UF fans are writing this one off as an easy win?

"I don't think UF fans respect USF yet. We expect to win and probably will but I think USF will play hard and be completive in the 1st half."

Lets just put it this way:

If THEY were introducing a new head coach tomorrow,

NONE of their fans would yell out: "Beat USF!"

The way that Urban legend quits/comes back you never know. God may tell him to quit again. You never know, they may very well be introducing a new coach. They will also be replacing thier D coordinator, who's unit played lights out last year, they will be replacing Spikes, and Tebow. Brantley will most likely end up being a better QB than Tebow, but Tebow willed that team to win. I can't stand Tebow, but he was one of the greatest leaders as a player in CFB modern history. I still think that it's an extremely up-hill battle, but they are rpeplacing a lot as well.

The people from Rutgers don't respect us why on earth would expect any respect from UF fans?  The average Gator fan probably couldn't name 2 players we have returning next year.

Quite honestly we really haven't done anything to earn anyone's respect besides WVU.

One thing Leavitt was always good for was pulling off a major upset about once a year.  We'll have to see if Holtz can too.  Not that Leavitt would've definitely beaten the gators, not many teams do.
