if it was just the SAT where he needed a slightly higher score I wouldn't be saying this.  I think he'd need to max the score to have a shot.   This is a fact, we're truly his only offer really and this is a kid that caught nearly 1500 yards and 18 TD's, and a school everyone visited to see Jernigan, and Powell.  He was no secret to anyone, and neither was his eligibility issues.  We'll catch him on the backside of JC.

Give it time. It only took them about six months to evaluate Claude Davis which they finally did yesterday after someone on this board e-mailed them.  :

I just looked at his profile. Not only is he not ranked, but they have no school choices for him, nor is he listed as by them as a USF verbal.

Instead of have a big story on the front page of USF Rivals about T-Rex switching his verbal from FSU, they have one about Holtz dropping Carnes' schollie with his coach saying that USF was not welcome there any longer and one about Sanders choosing USC over USF. I bet, those stories will get them many new USF subscriptions.  :

when did he become a scout 3 star?  did that just recently change?

he didnt play his junior year and was a one-star prospect until scout evaluated him

Actually, he was 1-star on Friday. 2-stars on Saturday. 3-stars today. Maybe they'll have him 4-stars by signing day.    ;D
