Things I would like to see, Indoor workout facility so they have artificial turf.

Great one, and I would agree.  It could be used by all sports, which would be useful on those cold, wet, and thundery days.  UCF has one.  We need one and all of USF athletics would benefit.

Just so long as we don't use it too often as I think one of the advantages our team has early is we workout in the heat, and that hurts some of our earlier opponents.

I was going to say that I'd like to see USF send you back your donation money (assuming you even donate) and then ban you from all events, and all message boards you participate in, but then I figured that might be seen as being too harsh.

So for me it is that we get and pay for some top assistant coaches for 2010.

what a nasty and mean spirited post

Having been on this board for 8 years, and dealing with you all those years, it is really easy to get that way.  You tend to bring out the best in people, smazza.

You are one of the most negative people I have never met.  You don't have much to say after a win, other than what we could have done better.  After something negative (ie the baskeball issues, losses, the Leavitt story) you are the first one to post three new threads on how much we suck and how everyone should be fired.

If you were actually contributing in some way to help the university, people might be a little nicer on threads to you.  But you truly bring out the negative in all of us.  It is like having an extremely negative coworker.  Eventually you end up fighting with them on everything because they are antagonistic.  They cannot see the good in anything, or anyone, ever.

I'd like for you to take the time one day to come up with 15 things USF Athletics has done well in the past 3 years, then 15 positive things about our football team.  I think you'd struggle finding 1 for each.  I know I could probalby find 30 for each, or more.

Dude, don't you know ...every good situation needs a heel? I think spazza exists so we can hate him. It's kinda like professional wrestling, people need someone to hate...  I wouldn't be suprised if Brad pays him under the table  to keep his opinions on here.  ;)

Kind of like the "vote for pedro"  or "save Ferris" campaigns, maybe we could have a "save smazza" one on our board we could contribute to.

Or a fund raiser for the board, or USF athletics.    On any given day that someone clicks the smazza link to donate, his posts get relegate to the trough.

No need for an indoor facility to accomodate an artificial turf practice field.  The last I checked it was in the plan for the athletics district project... three new NFL quality grass fields and one artificial turf field, with proper site drainage.  Old NFL quality grass fields go to intramurals.

An indoor facility may be nice, but I'd prefer seeing a sports nutrition center, or a new soccer stadium/track.  or how about we Bullrush the city of St Pete and let us install the docks we purchased for the sailing team (which btw has lost out on recruiting since the city stopped us from using our own docks.  Maybe we should stampede the mayors office... threaten th shave his porn-Stachelski if he doesn't step in.  This is the same team that's two years out from winning a national champioship.  Sorry to see bs politics kill that sport, ESP after all the money USF has spent.

What has it done for UCif?

Has not having one hurt UF, UM, or FSU?

Smazza, you are so negative that you bring out the worst of people.   I would recommend you take a view of your posts and your negativity and think about changing your attitude.  Also, do you give money, if so you need to give more.

I think we're getting an artificial turf field with the current renovations to the sports complex ...

Yes they are, and new grass fields too.
