he needs to see game action, a fair amount of it. Start him, give him 15-20 carries and get him out.

Mo will get the start ... Ford will most likely get closer to the 10 carries.

Mo has had 12 & 18 so far.

Oh, and very excited about his talent coming back.

Go BULLS !!!

i think 10-15 depending upon how his first 5 or 6 carries go.  obviously we all know that if he fumbles he wont get another carry until the louisville game ;)

I would say 8 carries max. Mo will get the bulk, L-squared is going to get 10 touches. I would expect Samuels and Ford to get the remainder.

Yes, I am excited. I love what Mo has done, but Ford is the real deal when healthy. I will always go back to the Pitt game last year when he put the team on his shoulders in that last drive where we took the lead. With running like that, MG will have a year to throw and pick any receiver he wants on a play action. I think the Ford/Lamar combo could be lethal.

Having said all of that...I completely agree with the coaches on this one, he has to win back their trust, and show that he is a better player than Mo, or I am fine with Mo continuing to carry the load.

We will implement the triple option this weekend with Grothe pitching to the power back-Ford or the scat back- Lamar.

If we don't mess around too much during the first half, perhaps he will see some fourth quarter action, as one would expect of someone so far down the depth chart.  GB!
