Kid will find the going tough early on.  The new guys have been through summer practice, and the veterans the spring also.  I hope nobody has any outlandish expectations that he will start opposite Selvie by the FSU game.

I kind of hope he redshirts...Giddens, JPP, and Forte battling for the starting spots next year could be a good thing.

Redshirts are applied for after the season.  If he's not needed, he can be redshirted.
