i need to clean-up my PC. need help

i dont have a virus...atleast not one that i know of.  but id like to clean up my computer.  any free programs you recommend?

i was thinking about getting out my XP disk and just re loading it.  wouldnt that clear it up and make it new again?

i dont really care if i lose all the files on my computer.  i keep all the important stuff on an external drive

In my novice opinion, if you can reload everything that is best.  I've done it before and the machine runs great again.

Just delete all your porn and it should speed up alot.

Most slow downs have nothing to do with viruses. It's the crap downloaded by "valid" programs that slow things down. I'm not a novice, and Bulliever is right. Save what you need, wipe, and reload.

Glary Utilities - Deletes bad registry's, searches for spyware, deletes history.
