If you look at the staff he has now I don't know who it could be.

Troy Douglas - 20 years exp with 4 at USF but almost all as a DB coach.

John Hebdrick - One year at USF as DL coach and had some experience as D coordinator.

Kevin Patrick - 5 years with USF as DL coach.

The name that pops into my mind is Dan Carney - it would be sweet to take him back from Florida.

Rod Marinelli.......

Dan McCarney......

please do not promote from our defensive staff.......

This years team is ready to compete for the BE title and for a BCS bid. Please no "on the job" training........

DC & OC two major hires that may define the 2009 season and beyond......

He was here for 3/4 years before and left and came back.

If we really lost Wally Burnham because of money, who the hell can we afford to hire that is a known quantity?

You think we could get **** LeBeau?? Haha! But I certainly agree that we must bring someone in, not promote from within. Snagging McCarney would be huge.

Buc's moved their DB coach all the way to the top!

I'm not saying it's the right move, but someone in the system should be ok.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
