Before, I thought you were just being negative, but now you show that you're just totally ignorant.First, as already corrected, he has been moved up to 3 stars on both sites. I already said he's one of the highest rated recruits we've had on ESPN, and now he's the same on the other 2 sites. He's 5.7 on rivals. If he was 5.8, he'd be a 4 star.Second, WATCH THE FREAKING YOUTUBE VIDEO THAT HAS BEEN LINKED TWICE. He does not just have straight-line speed! He is very shifty and breaks tackles well, especially for his size (which is the only reason he's not 4 or 5 stars, his size). Seriously, educate yourself. If Grothe to be successful this season, he would need threats on the field that scare the hell out of defenses. And next season they could have four such players. (Aston Samuels, Colby Eskins(if healthy), Lindsey Lamar, Faron Hornes) All who have instant speed in a bottle. And they're all short and fast. Those are the type of players you need to run a legit spread offense. Not a pound it down your throat back like Ford.

Seriously, educate yourself.i highly doubt that his size is the only reason why he wasn't rated so high. chris rainey and noel devine aren't very big players, and they were both 4/5 star recruits out of high school. and the video isn't very indicative, because it's high school and everyone's highlight video of high school is gonna look amazing. i'm just saying, there's got to be a reason why he was only a 2-star recruit (now bumped up, because i bet a bunch of people were flooding their inboxes in an attempt to bump his status up). i'm sure if you pull up jeff capel's high school video, it will look pretty nasty as well.like i said, i'm not hatin'. if he's a 2-star or 3-star athlete, i'm sure he can find some room on the special teams unit or the scout team or something (and we still need those, which is why its fill a void, i suppose), but i think the starters should be cut from a higher caliber of cloth, so to speak. It's fairly obvious that he has a lot of talent. Edit: btw, if you think Noel Devine's highlight tape in HS looked like everyone else's, you know even less than I thought. You are also ignorant to the fact that you can't just flood somebody's inbox to raise a guy's status. There are plenty of reasons for a guy not being as highly rated. The HS might not do well with sending out videos, the player might not be proactive either, and sometimes if you don't do interviews they won't look at you as closely. What level the HS matters, as well. Most importantly, there are thousands of kids to evaluate so a lot of them fall through the cracks. We tend to find several of those guys every year. The fact is that he's now one of the highest rated recruits we've ever had, and all but 1 that is higher that came out of HS is also a recruit this year (and again, you ignore the fact that ESPN had him at 78 before he was a USF recruit, but I'm sure that's mighty convenient for you). tell me who on our roster should start because they are more highly rated (as if that means anything)? Brian Fisher and Ean Randolph were not highly rated and yet both were among the best playmakers USF has ever seen. If you don't see that potential, then again, I feel sorry for you. Also, keep up with the times here, because he's not a 2-star athlete and never was.

That video shows he is much more than a track star, he just needs to add about 15-20 pounds

If you watch it closely he really follows his blocking well.
