The playcalling is bad.  The execution is worse.  3 trips inside the 20 with no points.  Sounds like the whole freaking season.

It's been awful.  Maybe it is the curse of Ray Jay sucking all of the red into the seats because the Bucs are pretty much the same way...  At least they get a field goal though.

Consistent over the last 3 years or so.  We don't seem to have any normal passing plays that are traditionally red xone type plays.  We haven't thrown a true fade since the PSU game.  We don't have a TE that can catch the ball in traffic.  We don't run any quick slants at the goal line.  Unless we are on the 2 or 3 yard line we don't have anything we can run consistently that works.  I really had no confidence down there in that situation.

Here is our offense in Big East play except for the Syracuse game.

Pitt 14 points

Louisville 20 points

Cincy 10 points

Rutgers 16 points

UConn 17 points

WV 7 points

Thats 14 points per game. That will NOT win you many games.

The infamous Johnny Peyton had a patent on that fade route and wouldn't sell it back to USF.

We averaged 19.4 points per game in conference.  Take out the 45 against Syracuse and that means the other 6 conference games we averaged 15.2.  Holy cheezwiz.  Something better change in the offseason.

I think we should bump those threads about how the Big East sucks and maybe we should get into the SEC because we beat Auburn once.  Oh wait...

Play calling was not bad. Execution most certainly was. We were driving on our first series and fumbled. Grothe had TJ wide open for a TD. Execution, or more specifically lack thereof, killed us tonight.

I meant redzone playcalling.  Although a couple accurate throws and it doesn't matter.
