Leaving aside Jamison and any credibility issues he may have, the sickle-cell test and the apparent failure of the training staff to step in is pretty damning. If the training staff did step in, and if they did follow the proper protocol ucf has done a poor job of conveying that to the public and especially ereck's family. If in fact a lawsuit is filed this will get very ugly.Sanjay, yeah the University has admitted they were well aware of Plancher's condition, they've admitted they were aware of the new policies and procedures passed around by the national trainers association (or whatever group) on how to handle sickle-cell trait players, and they admit GOL saw and questioned Plancher struggling (GOL admitted himself asking if he had b-fast, and saying he was 'better than that'), and finally UCF has admitted they had trainers at the workout- who they say, along with the staff were well aware of Plancher's medical condition. How is that not the most damning information provided, in directly UCF has already admitted to negligence, and for the most part, Tribble now looks like an idiot for unconditionally defending his coach and staff. As for the Jamison insinuations...this is coming mostly from KL, but what is funny is no one can find anything, no public records, no articles, nothing about James Jamison's supposed arrests, nothing about past suspensions, NOTHING! Knight Light insinuates he was arrested a few times and stole from the team-- I am surprised Jamison is not suing KL...but there is zero credibility to such story thus far. Furthermore, what about Reams? There is also four other players that have gone public? Why was it that KL said the Sentinel was 'lying' and 'fabricated' the four 'anonymous' players a few months ago along with a few other internet fans. Once a few names started circulating then it was let's attack the players. But at the end of the day indirectly UCF has admitted it's own culpability. Filling in the blanks won't be hard for the Plancher Family's counsel in a civil trial. You don't need much more...Sad to see fans like KL doing what he's doing, and UCF and AD's like Tribble, who's in over his head....handling things the way he has thus far. To Tribble's defense he might as well defend O'Liar since UCF is tied at the hip with him given that idiotic buyout clause they agreed to. If it was Orsini that left UCF with that then they should all be glad he is gone. He gave his buddy a golden parachute before he left in case he couldn't be around to protect him. Reality is harsh, but they don't want reality, because it is too hard for them to accept. I feel sorry for the Plancher family that is forced to take this to court in order to get the facts revealed and gain some closure.

His credibility is at stake since he was the on camera face(and one of these anonymous people). The question is whether ESPN knew that or not. However, he's just one of several people to come forward, and because he's no longer there was willing to go on camera. You guys really need to move to the part where you start asking your university how they could allow this to happen, and what they're doing to make sure it never happens again. Face reality. No question the lawyers of the Plancher family will put these kids (and coaches and trainers) under oath.

Nothing else. I hope we here at USF and at schools are doing better and learned from these tragic instances.http://www.news-press.com/article/20081126/SPORTS/81126002/1011/SPORTS01?GID=GUW9LwXF3B8M96e9wOK+cIqGye0wK0LlHraENJrdiz4%3D

A trainer was present, and decided to have Plancher carried outside instead of hooking up the cardiac equipment. It took the Head Trainer to arrive before sensible actions were taken. Robert Jackson should be looking for another line of work, while O'Leary enjoys the Florida Retirement System. For the trainer to admit that Plancher fell, and Jackson allowed him to continue...not good. Also contradicts O'Leary saying there were no signs of struggle.
