Finally an answer to the question I've asked since Day 1.  A trainer was present, and decided to have Plancher carried outside instead of hooking up the cardiac equipment.  It took the Head Trainer to arrive before sensible actions were taken.

Robert Jackson should be looking for another line of work, while O'Leary enjoys the Florida Retirement System.  For the trainer to admit that Plancher fell, and Jackson allowed him to continue...not good.  Also contradicts O'Leary saying there were no signs of struggle.

ESPN reporter Mark Fainaru-Wada, one of the authors of "Game of Shadows" about Barry Bonds and the steroid scandal, will have a report about Ereck Plancher's death on "Outside the Lines" Sunday morning.

Here's the full text of ESPN's news release promoting the show:

Sunday's Outside the Lines (9 a.m. ET ESPN, noon ESPNEWS) will examine the death of Ereck Plancher, a seemingly healthy and fit University of Central Florida football player who died shortly after collapsing during a March 18 workout.  For the first time, a player who came to Plancher's aid gives a detailed, on-camera account of what transpired at that workout. The player, whose identity will be revealed during the show, told reporter Mark Fainaru-Wada that Plancher struggled severely at the end of the workout, and coaches and trainers were slow to respond.  A second player gave a similar account off-camera.  The university has called the incident a tragedy, and insists coaches and trainers handled the situation properly.  Plancher’s parents have since notified the school that they plan to sue, claiming their son died "as a direct and proximate result of University of Central Florida's negligence."

The info contained in the trainer statements that were released contradcit many statements the university has made to the media, which explains why they fought releasing them.  This isn't a pretty sight, and its gonna get worse.  When are the ucIF fans actually going to stand up and start forcing their university to answer for its stupidity THAT ALLOWED A PLAYER TO DIE.

It's said somewhere(I think OS) that Jackson isn't at UCF anymore.
