I'm actually with Smazza on this one- and with Coach Burnham- this is the first complete game we've played.

If we do this week in and week out (which we haven't up until now), we CAN go all the way.

The scary thought for atleast other teams is that I have not seen the

Smazza is usually here, rain or shine ..... What's humorous is, after a nice performance like Saturday, the absence of some resident ***** and moaners whose mamas must have told them "if you don't have anything bad to say, don't say anything at all".  8)

Well said...I kept hearing the ESPN flapjaws talking about NC State being a "statement game" for us.  That was true in a lot of ways, but nothing compared to what Thursday night needs to be for us.  We need to come out pumped and absolutely demolish Pitt!!!  No let ups or worries about running up the score, no 4th quarter letdowns...slaughter them mercilessly and leave the blood on the field.

I thought before the Nc ST game, that I could tell alot about the team from how they play and I came away for the

most part very impressed.

Consistency each games should be the motto this season.

I had a gander at the stats on Sunday in the st pete times.

I liked what I say.

9 guys rushing for positive yards including 3 qb's.

Alvarado making some key punts out of bad snaps

Grothe 20 - 29 and no ints

7 guys receiving passes, and Taurus with only one.  Hester had a great game.

Bonani 3 - 4 on FG's only missing a 44 yarder (in the rain no less).  but also made one from 44.

Great Run D, stopped them in their tracks

Great overall D considering the starters who are injured\

Avg 25 yds for kickoff returns, decent

Scored 6 - 7 times in the red zone... Yea, some consistancy.

What I didn't like...

so many carries with Grothe, again our reading rusher.

7 - 13 for 3rd down conversions...

While not as bad as the last three games, we seemed to let up the level of play in the last 5 minutes again.  Hard to notice because the margin was so great, and we won, but we did let down our guard a bit.  They got some of their stats increased in that period of time....
