I'm just curious how this word "classy" became synonymous with the actions and attitudes of football players, coaches, and fans. I never hear used in any other context.

Ron Burgundy said it about a whole City.

I hear you.....but whatever you call it, it was a nice move and appropriate, and if you believe in the power of prayer....it couldn't have hurt considering the initial fears for Brouce were on the grim side.

I agree the "W" was great but picture of both teams coming together is forever etched in my mind.  That was the best sportsmanship and class I have seen in a long time.  Aside from CJL and his love for our team.

I shot a Pic of it...  it was a bright spot in a grim moment.

I agree, it was a classy move by the coach.

And the remainder of the game, the coach was a fired up as a pit bull in heat.

He reminds me of CJL in that regard.

I like him.  If he were my coach, I know I would be inspired and fired up.

FIU may not have quite the athletes we have, but they played beyond their potential on Saturday and kept the game close to the end.  It is in large part due to a coach who believes in them and is a spark plug on the sideines.

This guy will be a good coach.  No doubt about it....

I was just happy the FIU fans shut up for the prayer.

They have good coaches there, just wish more of it rubbed off on the school.  After the fight with UM, Don Strock suspended the team for the rest of the season, when the President overrode his decision he resigned.

Very classy move by the FIU coaching staff and their players.
