Ok, I'll admit it I'm a tad bit confident. LOL

We SHOULD win this game at HOME.

If we turn the ball over like we did against Cincy, then we deservedly SHOULD lose.

If the team shows up and plays tough and can get some turnovers we should win, also need to run the ball well

to setup the pass.

As for usf... The team is jacked... I spoke to a friend on the team last night... He assured me the team is fired up and nobody is more fired up than leavitt. He keeps exclaiming that he would like to "pad up" and get out there. They were all isolated in the hotel thinking about this game and their assignments.

The team stays in a hotel for home games?  That's news to me.

Put it this way, I read where they simulated this game 10,000 times and the final verdict was Kansas by a single point.  It's that close of a coin flip on this one and I'm definitely nervous.  I'd been a little nervous if we waxed UCF and since we DIDN'T despite being the vastly better team, I'm very nervous about this game as I see it coming down to a tough battle, with a handful of plays making the difference.  When i say that, I mean special teams big plays, a bad slip despite good coverage, something crappy like that.  Worst of all, I pray it's not raining bc we always SUCK when it rains...

I'm calling it now.  If we don't win the turnover battle in this one, we won't win.  If Selvie doesn't register two sacks in this one, you can bet he's staying his senior year, bc he'll slip enough he'll need that extra year to bulk up and prove he's NFL material.  Bc 1st round draft picks STILL GET SACKS and TFLs even when they are double teamed...If he can't, it means he doesn't have the size to make it happen as a DE and will take more hyping before he can come out as a 3/4 LB...
