To date, UCF has sold more than 20,000 season tickets, which mirrors the amount sold at the same time a year ago. UCF sold approximately (read: less than) 23,000 season tickets in 2007."So with roughly a month to go, you're 2500-2900 off of last year's total... and you don't have the Texas Game or the new stadium as the big draw.I guess now we'll see just how many Texas fans bought season tix last year and won't be renewing them before the first game... Just a note...for those that don't know...UCF only has room for 25k season tickets....the rest go to students, faculty, corps..etc. And we filled up that stadium more than once last year....and Texas fans didn't come to those, either. Oh yeah, that you guys will have 35K at Miami this year. You guys were the one whining about the fact that UCF counted butts in seats and that USF cheated by counting tickets distributedn yet UCF quietly began counting tickets distributed 2 years ago. You guys were the ones over here putting down our attendance and how our fans travel and how we did not deserve BCS, blah blah blah.So you're **** skippy that we'll have a laugh at your expense when your site reports lower ticket sales than last season notwithstanding that they reported to the press increased sales of 451 seats. Guess not. We'll have another laugh when KL runs over here with some link to Brett's column from 2004 trying to tell us how poor USF's attendance was.
