ok calm down, we're all bulls fans here, and judging by the sun dome's attendance against said ranked team, i'd say we need all the fans we can get. nothing wrong with caring about your team, we're in the big east and i like many others want to win, we have talent we have kids who work hard we just have a lame-duck coach running the show. personally i believe we have the talent to win in the big east (as this game proves) we just need someone to put us over the edge. i don't think that is a completely irrational way to view our program. now to flip your statement i would question whether we need those type of fans who apathetically believe that usf will never win in b-ball for whatever reason and coach mac and moral victories is the best we can ever hope for. to me that would be a pretty pathetic fanbase.

frey was from clearwater i think. two things are fact it wasn't a monetary move since leavitt was willing to match and according to his own interview it was a split decision that he made last week after west va called. i'm sure he had other reasons for moving (less work hours, work with his friend, sick of leavitt, change of scenery, who knows). i don't think this will affect us too much with recruiting and i thank him for getting us to where we are, but don't expect any cheers when he comes back to tampa. at least he took private pyle and his sh!t collection of "voodoo" plays and sweaty head towels with him. hopefully we can bring in some new and more talented/qualified people that's wiling to work with leavitt.
