It MIGHT be the lighting, but the gold on Selvie's helmet definitley looks more metallic and brighter.

I like the fact that "Big East" is in green to match the rest of the jersey. On the old ones, it was in blue and red.

I also noticed the gigantic numbers on the back of the jerseys. I am sure they will grow on me. One thing is for sure, it will be easier for the refs to call penalties on the correct numbered player.

Just lighting, Im afraid.  Our helmets aren't too bad in bright light (sunlight especially). They look their worst during night games imho.
