It is all coming together now.  This game is going to be called the Demolition Bowl sponsored by:

http://www.demolitionassociation.com/.

There is going to be a 4 year contract at the Trop.  After the 4th installment they are going to implode the place.

I think the problem with attracting an ACC team is money.

So why is the money not a problem to attracting a Big East team?

As much as I hate to use ACC football as any sort of guideline for smart business decisions, that's a question that needs to be asked.

The Emerald and Humanitarian pay out a lot more than this game

If the St Pete game is unwilling or unable to live up to the lofty standards of the Roady's Humanitarian Bowl, it doesn't deserve to be born.

everyone has to start somewhere.

the BE is smart...

1. this bowl is a positive for recuiting in florida for All BE teams

2. this bowl is prepositioned to get set for the next negotiations in 2 years

3. this bowl may help get the RAYS a new staduim that will be more football friendly

4. this bowl is like USF was when we came into the BE "full of potential"

5. this bowl is a hedge against the possiblity of losing the GATOR bowl. (no FL presence)

this bowl is a risk however there are a lot more positives than negatives.

the payout will be at least as good as pizza ,and toronto, hopefully better

it will move after christmas to attract ACC, sooner rather than later

or it could be BE vs "at large" in the future

I just can't see it happening in a baseball stadium.

The Emerald Bowl is more of a gimmick than anything getting the 6th best in the PAC 10 and 7th in the ACC.

the Insite Bowl changed venues as soon as they could.

This bowl does have potential, but it will never be big. Not with such low capacity.

This bowl will be a hell of a lot better than Birmingham or Toronto, but far from another top half bowl the BE needs

...a couple of paragraphs in the Trib today. Moving the date so it doesn't go up against Bucs x Chargers. Basically, next week, the bowl goes up for approval with a tentative date.

ACC #7 already has a bowl (Emerald)... it would be ACC #9 or SEC #9...

Of course ACC #8 goes to Boise, Idaho so maybe the ACC could be persuaded to change that.

In fact, I'm willing to bet that will happen once the bowl contracts are all up... we get Big East vs C-USA for two years then the bowl drops C-USA for ACC.

Why do we have to have ANOTHER bowl against c-usa? Id like the BE to have more bowls against bigger conferences!
